In the backdrop of Piazza del Popolo in Rome, there was another reason to visit one of the "Roman salons" yesterday, the firefighters' event that symbolically closed Rome 2023. Thousands of people visited the exhibition stands, historical and latest generation vehicles such as the Drago 139 helicopter, the latest addition to the firefighters' fleet. In the morning, the charming Scala Romana, the flagship of the event, with its 30 meters of height, concentrated the technical expertise, courage, and passion that are essential characteristics for the firefighting profession. To conclude the event, a parade of historical vehicles from via del Corso to Piazza Venezia, passing through the Fori Imperiali, with the Isotta Fraschini opening the procession. The top officials of the fire department, including the Undersecretary of the Interior Prisco, the head of the Department Lega, and the head of the Corps Parisi, were present to thank the entire organizing team for their commitment.
