25/04/2023 - THE SHARED CHARTER OF VALUES BETWEEN ITALIAN AND EUROPEAN FIREFIGHTERS

The delegations of European firefighters have returned home after sharing the values charter with Italian firefighters, which can be summed up in one word: BUILT.

B as in BUILDING

Italian and European firefighters have "built" a home for firefighters in service in European capitals, based on common intentions, objectives, and feelings towards each other and towards others, even through the comparison of structures, organizations, and equipment that may find themselves providing assistance together.

U as in UNITY

Italian and European firefighters have shared a sense of teamwork, in a united and coordinated manner, respecting and recognizing each other's roles and abilities, in an ideal team without borders, with which the strength of the organization and the unity of the rescuer's spirit in European capitals for European citizens and beyond is enhanced.

I as in INTEROPERABILITY

Italian and European firefighters have shared functional procedures and systems for providing assistance in different operational scenarios, trusting each other, and recognizing each other's operational uniforms.

L as in LEGALITY

Italian and European firefighters have shared the sense of service to citizens, rescue, respect for regulations, and values of risk prevention, with the awareness and pride that in public squares, among citizens, our vehicles and equipment represent safety and protection.

T as in TECHNIQUE

Italian and European firefighters have shared technologies and equipment for providing assistance, even with innovative forms, and through the exchange of experiences, recognizing that the continuous improvement of techniques and equipment enhances rescue performance.
